Mumbai-based model and actress Natasha Sikka has filed a complaint with the Mumbai cyber crime cell against a former friend who has allegedly been sending out false and defamatory emails to various professional acquaintances of the model.
According to Flynn Remedios, publicist and spokesperson for Natasha Sikka, “the model was briefly engaged about two years ago to a Delhite. When she called off the engagement on grounds of cruelty and harassment, her incensed former boyfriend started sending out false and defamatory emails to her professional contacts like photographers and web portals. The accused person also put up a vulgar and indecent blog about the model claiming falsely that she is being investigated for fraud. His emails threaten legal action for copy right infringement claiming to be sent from a law firm head quartered in England, under the false email identity of Yogendra Pratap Singh.” The police are trying to track down the IP address and location of the sender who has been going about this scandalous deed with great impunity.
Natasha Sikka has informed the Mumbai Cyber Crime cell which is trying to track down the sender. Flynn Remedios who runs the Futuristic Media Network news and content syndication service, also received some defamatory emails and crank calls threatening him with dire consequences for promoting and supporting the model.

The sexy, curvaceous and voluptuous Anaya Das is undisputedly the new sex symbol in Tollywood. The 21-year-old Mumbai-based bombshell has signed on two new Tamil films in a matter of weeks. She is also shooting for the Tamil remake of the historical film Jhansi ki Rani – the Great Escape along with Avantika Sharma and Neelakshi Singh.
The Tamil version of Jhansi Ki Rani based on the British version of the historic tale of the Jhansi Ki Rani is controversial in nature but is based on authentic records by a British historian as mentioned in his books. The film produced by the Cochin-based Red Ruby Films is being made in Tamil, but will be dubbed in about four additional languages including Hindi, Bengali and English.
According to Flynn Remedios, publicist and spokesperson for Red Ruby Films, this film is bound to create a big controversy as it shows the Rani as a scheming, devious woman who would stop at nothing to reach her goal which is defending Jhansi. “All is fair in love and war,” was apparently Rani Laxmi bai’s motto when she used some ‘women of the night’ in her army to seduce and distract the British soilders during the seige of Jhansi, says Flynn Remedios, adding that this fact has been probably ommitted by Indian historians. “Since there is no concrete historical evidence of this and is only mentioned once by one British writer – a former officer in the British army, it may be considered as part fiction. The script of the movie uses some filmi licence,” explains Flynn Remedios.
While Neelakshi Singh plays Rani Laxmibai, Avantika Sharma is the 20-year-old daughter of a British colonel. Anaya Das plays the dasi or handmaid of Jhansi ki Rani who helped her to escape from the British onslaught.

Mumbai-based model and actress Avantika Sharma has been short-listed by a French fashion house as their in-house model. She will model and walk the ramp for all their products and brands along with other big names in the French fashion world.
While no more information was available, her publicist Flynn Remedios confirmed that she has signed a years’ contract with a Paris-based fashion house, but refused to give any further details saying that an official announcement will be made at the first fashion event for the season by the label.
Avantika Sharma will make her film debut with the Tamil movie Jhansi Ki Rani – The Great Escape produced by the Cochin-based film production house Red Ruby Films. The 21-year-old actress began shooting for the film along with models Neelakshi Singh and Anaya Das in Chennai recently.
Avantika Sharma is represented by the artiste management agency Crimson Gems globally.

Professional rivalry and a killer attitude fuelled by days of rehearsals required for a brutal thriller movie THE LUCKY 13TH took its toll on the artistes as two of the leading ladies nearly came to blows, threw their drinks at each other and exchanged the most vulgar cuss words. Actresses Jennifer and Swapna Tiwari were rivals from day one when they had auditioned for the film three months ago. Both were vying for the main meaty roles. While both managed to get substantial roles in the film, the rivalry only grew and reached a climax at the film party.
Says our source, “The actresses didn’t see each other in the eye during the entire press conference. There seemed to be a major cold war between them. When the press meet got over, and drinks were served both of them coincidently happened to be sitting next to each other for a photo session. Jennifer didn’t take kindly to Swapna’s laughing and flirting with her male co-star Sunny and before one could say ‘peace’ a high-voltage catfight was underway. Abuses were exchanged with cuss words flying all over the place. Finally an irritated Jennifer flung her glass at Swapna Tiwari who sustained a cut on her hand. At this stage the production people and co-stars intervened and physically separated the warring artistes packing them off into their cars.

Speaking at the press conference, producer Raaj Varma of Raaj Varma Entertainment said, “We promise audiences the most spell-binding entertainment ever.”
Director Praveen Dodeja assured his viewers one of the most unforgettable visual experiences ever seen on Indian screens. “While the film is pregnant with gore, brutality and grime, we will adhere to basic levels of decency and also ensure that it’s within the parameters acceptable to the Indian Censor Board,” said Praveen Dodeja.
The film, which is multi lingual, will be released in various languages across the world and will compete for eyeballs with some of the best studios in Bollywood as well as Hollywood, said Flynn Remedios, Media Advisor and Executive Producer for the project. The film goes on floors in the third week of December and is expected to be completed by end Feburary 2010. The film will release around May 2010, said Producer Raaj Varma.

According to Claudia Ciesla’s spokesperson Flynn Remedios, CC as she is known to her friends has worn and posed for photo sessions, print catalogues and the like in the Benarasi, Rajasthani, Marwari, Maharashtrain (koli), Bengali, Kashmiri, Lucknowi and you name it sarees.
Says Flynn Remedios showing us about 100-odd photos of Claudia Ciesla draped in varying styles,”Claudia Ciesla loves wearing the saree. She has modelled and worn more than ten different saree types or forms in the last 4-6 months alone – probably more than any other Indian model has. Her favourite is the Benarsi saree. Claudia owns about 20 varieties of sarees and loves to wear them to parties in Germany, shocking her friends when they stumble upon the fully-clad stunner.”
